The Minister of Education presides over the meeting of the opinion committee and directs the facilitation of procedures for accepting foreign students in primary and higher studies

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, presided over the second meeting of the Opinion Commission, and directed the implementation of the strategy for scientific quality standards and institutional and program accreditation.

At the beginning of the meeting held at the University of Karbala, in the presence of members of the advanced staff of the ministry and presidents of public universities, the Minister of Education emphasized the development and adoption of international scientific and academic standards in applying quality and accreditation standards, pointing at the same time to the importance of procedures for publishing scientific research and thoughtful dealing with solid journals.

He directed the facilitation of procedures for accepting foreign students in primary and postgraduate studies, creating websites for universities, setting up links for student registration, in addition to developing the governance environment in universities, mechanisms for developing measurement units, automated evaluation, and objective re-evaluation of open majors in universities in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, and developing academic programs to develop teaching methods. It also consolidates the educational process and deals with publishing research in journals that are not accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and its institutions.
