Confirming the readiness to receive the new academic year.. The Minister of Education inspects the infrastructure projects and classrooms in the Universities of Baghdad and Al-Nahrain

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inspected a number of infrastructure projects and classrooms in Iraqi universities.

The Minister of Education followed the path of implementing projects and halls according to the indicators of the need to expand the capacity of the university environment in order to accommodate the increasing demand for university education, stressing at the same time the universities' readiness to receive the new academic year 2023/2024.

He explained during the inspection tour that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities are working on a studied procedural policy that is closely linked to the national strategy for education in Iraq (2031/2021), stressing that these follow-ups and intensive visits represent a government commitment to developing climates of higher education and scientific research.

He continued that the modernization of university buildings and the completion of its projects comes in line with the requirements of a fundamental transformation in the educational and academic path through the adoption of the Bologna process in engineering and science disciplines in public and private universities.

The Minister of Education listened to a detailed explanation from the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, and the President of Al-Nahrain University, Dr. Ali Abdel Aziz Al-Shawi, about the timing of project implementation and the foundations for completing it in light of the federal state budget.
