The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, held a meeting with the deans of the faculties of engineering and science at universities to discuss procedures for implementing the Bologna Process in the current academic year. The Minister of Education, in the presence of a number of senior staff, reviewed the importance of transformation in the educational system towards the Bologna Process, which would address the gap and bridge the paths between the university environment and the labor market in the public and private sectors. He stressed that the Bologna Process represents the most important milestones of success achieved by the Ministry of Education and its institutions, pointing out that the implementation of the indicator in the four technical universities was praised by the UNESCO office and the European Union mission in Baghdad, indicating at the same time that the colleges of engineering and science and their departments deserve to bear this responsibility and contribute to completing the steps. The deans presented their visions and the map of tasks and steps included in the Bologna process in the implementation process, which will provide new momentum for the educational process through the student’s adoption as a basis for the new executive procedures.
