The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, met with a group of international students studying in Iraqi universities within the Study in Iraq program.
In his speech, the Minister of Education expressed his welcome to Arab and foreign students coming from various countries of the world, stressing that university education represents an important cultural bridge between countries, noting that the first version of the Study in Iraq program for the year 2023/2024 resulted in the acceptance of one thousand and fifteen students, while those registered in the version The second program for the year 2024/2025 has more than two thousand students so far from seventy countries around the world.
The Minister of Education reviewed before the students aspects of the capabilities of Iraqi universities, their results achieved in international classifications, their long-standing academic reputation, and their qualified professors and researchers, pointing out the keenness of the Ministry and its universities to provide a quality educational environment for all students in order to enable them to achieve what they aspire to. mechanism.
For their part, the international students expressed their gratitude and thanks to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for providing various educational opportunities to enroll in Iraqi universities, praising at the same time the scientific level on which these universities and their specialized colleges are based at the level of primary and postgraduate studies.
