The Times Asian University Rankings announced the results of its 2024 edition, which evaluated seven hundred and thirty-nine universities according to a methodology that includes standards and indicators related to teaching, research environment and quality, international outlook, and industry. The results indicated that the universities of technology ranked (351-400), Al-Qadisiyah (501-600), Babylon (501-600), Diyala (501-600), and Al-Nahrain (501-600). 601+), Central Technology (601+), Al-Mustansiriya (601+), Anbar (601+), Baghdad (601+), Basra (601+), Karbala (601+), Kufa (601+), and Mosul (601+).
Research quality (30%) includes citation impact 7.5%, research strength 7.5%, research excellence 7.5%, and research impact 7.5%.
International outlook (7.5%) includes the percentage of international students 2.5%, the percentage of international employees 2.5%, and international cooperation 2.5%.
Industry (10%) includes industry income 5% and patents 5%.
It is worth noting that Iraq achieved 37th place in the world in the Times University Rankings for the year 2024 by registering Iraqi universities competing in the classification, which evaluated 2,024 universities from 108 countries around the world.
