The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, received an official invitation from the Secretary of State for Education in the United Kingdom (Gillian Keegan MP) to participate in the World Education Forum scheduled to be held in London in May 2024. This came during his reception of a delegation headed by the Deputy British Ambassador in Baghdad, Ms. Rosie How and a number of representatives of the British Council, where the Minister of Education stressed during the meeting the Iraqi academic institution’s keenness on the paths of internationalizing education and enhancing programs for exchanging educational experiences within productive international partnerships. The visiting delegation explained that the indicators achieved in the Iraqi higher education and scientific research environment deserve to place Iraqi universities within the climates of scientific interaction and active participation in forums, facilities, and international competition platforms.
