Among the decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education regarding the treatment of student cases for the academic year 2023-2024 is to authorize college or institute councils with the authority (5 grades) and with the approval of the college and university councils, to deal with the cases of students who have failed in institutes and colleges, to be granted as follows..
• Granting remedial grades after the end of the first round exams (the annual system and the second semester of the semester system) to change the students’ status from failure to success exclusively.
• Granting remedial grades after the end of the second round of the two systems for the purpose of passing or to reduce the number of failed subjects.
• Including assessment exam materials in treatment for the purpose of passing the subject and not for the purpose of achieving the condition for success in the final exam.
• Including students studying according to the curriculum system of the two systems, taking into account the decisions regarding the treatment of subjects that prepare for complementary subjects in the event that they do not exhaust the 5 grades for treatment.
