The Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee between Iraq and Iran holds its first meeting in Baghdad

The Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran held its first meeting to discuss prospects for cooperation and coordination between the universities of the two countries.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, stressed the importance of consolidating the climate of scientific cooperation and developing joint scientific programs in the light of knowledge variables and discoveries in various disciplines that serve the academic work environment in the two countries.

The Minister of Education reiterated the importance of overcoming the challenges that stand in the way of Iraqi students studying in Iranian universities, facilitating procedures related to residency and completing the requirements for university degrees and graduation.

The members of the Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee discussed the topics on the agenda issued by the joint work file in the fields of scientific research and cooperation programs in the disciplines sought by university institutions on both sides.
