Education announces the launch of the second edition of the Study in Iraq program for international students

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the second edition of the Study in Iraq program to attract international students to Iraqi universities for the academic year 2024/2025.

The Study in Iraq program included 14,322 academic seats offered by 59 Iraqi public and private universities, distributed as follows: 57% for free scholarships and 43% for semi-free scholarships in medical, health, engineering, pure sciences, agricultural, veterinary, administrative, law, politics, educational, and humanities for the bachelor’s, higher diploma, master’s, and doctorate levels for the academic year 2024/ 2025. Applications for scholarships begin starting today, Monday, 4/1/2024, through the electronic platform for the Study in Iraq program (https://studyiniraq.scrd-gate.gov.iq/home).

The launch of the new version of the Study in Iraq program witnessed official speeches and detailed presentations in the presence of a number of representatives of diplomatic missions in Baghdad, senior staff, university presidents, college deans, and an elite group of international students studying in Iraqi universities.
